Description
This Creamy Beef Pasta is a high-protein dish that is quick and comforting, perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz Fettuccine Pasta
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 3 cups Spinach
Instructions
- Boil Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Brown Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and no longer pink, approximately 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Sauté Garlic: Push the beef to one side of the skillet. Add minced garlic to the empty side and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant and lightly golden.
- Make Sauce: Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Gradually mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add Spinach: Stir in the fresh spinach, allowing it to wilt and blend into the sauce. Scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Combine Pasta and Serve: Add the drained fettuccine to the sauce. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired creaminess. Serve hot.
Notes
Optional: Garnish with extra Parmesan and a sprinkle of fresh herbs for added flavor.
