Scale
- 2 lb raw jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 9 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons chili flakes
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

- Step 1: Wash shrimp under cold water, pat dry with paper towel, and place in a large bowl.
- Step 2: Mix shrimp with 1 tablespoon butter, salt, black pepper, onion powder, paprika, and chili flakes.
- Step 3: Sear shrimp in a skillet with 2 tablespoons of butter for 1 minute per side, then remove and set aside.
- Step 4: Deglaze the skillet with 1/4 cup vegetable broth, then add 4 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic.
- Step 5: Once garlic browns, add cilantro and cook on low heat for 1 minute, stirring continuously.
- Step 6: Return shrimp to the skillet, mix everything, and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes and Italian salad. To avoid rubbery shrimp, ensure they are not overcooked; they are ready once pink and opaque.
