Description

This easy Korean ground beef recipe is one of our go-to weeknight dinners. It’s quick, full of flavor, and light on the budget but heavy on that sweet-and-savory goodness you love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Tablespoon Canola or Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Pounds Ground Beef
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • ½ Cup Soy Sauce
  • ½ Cup Orange Juice
  • ½ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 Green Onions, sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat the oil in a cast iron pan over medium high heat.
  2. Step 2: Add the ground beef and garlic. Using a meat chopper to break it up, cook until browned all the way through, about 3-5 minutes, then drain the grease.
  3. Step 3: In a medium mixing bowl, add the ingredients for the sauce and whisk together until combined.
  4. Step 4: Pour the sauce over the beef and simmer until thickened slightly.
  5. Step 5: Serve over rice with steamed veggies and garnish with green onions.

Notes

This dish freezes well for up to 3 months. It can be served over white rice, ramen, udon, or in lettuce wraps.
