- 50 g (1/3 cup) pistachios, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil, divided
- 2 tbsp (30 g) honey, divided
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) orange juice, fresh
- 1 tsp (5 g) za’atar or thyme
- Pinch of black pepper
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Pears: Core pears, leaving stems intact.
- Make Filling: Combine pistachios, feta, za’atar, pepper, and 1 tbsp olive oil.
- Stuff Pears: Fill pear cavities with feta mixture.
- Drizzle Honey: Drizzle each pear with 1 tsp honey.
- Bake: Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 20-25 minutes, until tender.
- Make Glaze: Combine remaining honey, orange zest, juice, and olive oil.
- Warm Glaze: Heat glaze until glossy.
- Glaze & Rest: Brush pears with glaze and rest for 5 minutes.
- Plate & Garnish: Plate pears, drizzle with glaze, and garnish with mint.
