- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 heaping cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup red onion, sliced thin
- 1/2 cup pickles, diced
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup mustard (dijon or yellow)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (for sauce)
- 1/2 tsp onion powder (for sauce)
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Brown the Beef: Add oil to a large skillet over high heat and add in the beef. Cook until browned and no longer pink, 3-4 minutes.
- Season: Add garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Assemble: Divide lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and cooked ground beef between bowls. Top with homemade burger sauce and serve immediately.
Notes
Store the components in separate containers or plastic bags to keep them fresh. Assemble the bowls when you are ready to serve.
