A creamy and flavorful slow-cooker chicken pasta that’s easy to prepare and tastes like a simplified Chicken Alfredo, perfect for a family dinner.

- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 envelope (0.6 oz) Zesty Italian dressing
- 2 cans (10.5 oz each) condensed cream of chicken
- â…“ cup chicken broth
- 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 16 oz cooked pasta (bow ties)
Instructions
- Step: Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker liner.
- Step: Poke each breast with a fork 3 to 4 times.
- Step: Sprinkle the zesty Italian dressing on the chicken breasts.
- Step: Add the condensed cream of chicken and chicken broth.
- Step: Cover the slow cooker and cook for 3 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low. (Until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.)
- Step: 30 minutes before the end of the cook, place your cream cheese on the counter.
- Step: Cook your pasta according to the directions on the package.
- Step: Once the chicken has reached 165 degrees F shred the chicken using 2 forks.
- Step: Add the cream cheese to the broth and cover for 10-15 extra minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Step: Add the cooked pasta to the slow cooker. Mix to coat the pasta.
- Step: Serve immediately and Enjoy!
Notes
Serve immediately; do not keep on warm as the pasta will continue to cook and become mushy. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
