Description

Juicy, tender chicken smothered in a buttery buffalo ranch dry rub is made easily in an air fryer for a quick meal or appetizer in just 20 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken tenders
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 8oz stick butter, salted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep Chicken: Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes, mix buffalo and ranch seasonings separately, cut chicken into 3″ pieces, toss with olive oil, 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning, and 1 tablespoon buffalo dry rub, and pack onto skewers.
  2. Make Butter Mixture: Soften 1 stick of butter, mix in 1.5 tablespoons buffalo seasoning, 1 tablespoon ranch seasonings, and chives, then divide sauce into two portions (1/3 for uncooked basting, 2/3 for cooked basting).
  3. Cook & Baste: Air fry skewers at 400°F for 5 minutes, flip and baste, cook for 2 minutes, flip and baste again, and cook for 5-6 more minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F, finishing with a final baste and fresh chives.

Notes

Premade store-bought buffalo dry rub and ranch seasoning can be used. Oven method: 450°F for 14 minutes, flipping halfway, then broil for 2 minutes. Grill method: Medium-high heat, 5-6 minutes per side, basting throughout.
